Deutsche Orchester Stiftung
We are so glad to have received a #MusikerZukunft scholarship from the Deutsche Orchester-Stiftung, supporting one of our most exciting projects so far! This project brings us together with our wonderful friends, the Kandinsky Quartet, for a collaboration that will take us to Essen, Cologne, Munich, Berlin, and hopefully more cities. Together, we will explore some of the greatest octet repertoire -including works by Enescu, Mendelssohn, Shostakovich, and Spohr.
We are also thrilled to share that Helena Cánovas Parés is composing our first commissioned piece, a new string quartet written especially for us, which will be premiered during this concert series. We are deeply grateful to the Deutsche Orchester-Stiftung for making this journey possible and can’t wait to share the music with you in the upcoming season!
